Web-assisted questions
The website assistant checks curated EDY-Hive content first. When that content is insufficient and live web research is enabled, the question may be sent to Brave Search to produce a cited public-web answer. Do not include personal, confidential, customer, controlled, or security-sensitive information in chatbot questions.
Account and security data
The customer portal records account details, secure session information, preferences, and security-relevant audit events. Passwords are stored only as strong cryptographic hashes by the authentication system.
Use and retention
Information is used to operate the website, respond to requests, protect accounts, and meet legitimate operational obligations. A formal retention schedule and privacy policy must be approved before production launch.
